Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are pleased to be working with a practice who are looking for an experienced small animal vet to join their friendly, dynamic team. The role offers a mix of surgery and medical duties, with support for any professional interests. You’ll have clinical freedom and be well-supported in their collaborative practice.
About them:
This group was established over 100 years ago, operates from two purpose-built sites in Market Drayton and Newport, Shropshire. Both locations are well-equipped, with consulting rooms, operating theatres, X-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy facilities. They’re located in a beautiful rural area with easy access to major cities like Birmingham and Manchester.
You’ll be joining a supportive team of vets, nurses, and receptionists. Many of their team hold certificates, and we encourage further education. The ideal candidate will be confident with independent consulting and routine surgery.
Working Rota:
Their full-time vets work 40 hours a week, including a share of Saturday mornings, with no out-of-hours. They’re open to part-time and flexible working arrangements.
Salary:
Up to £75,000 DOE, Relocation allowance up to £5000 plus a welcome bonus of up to £5000
