Modern Two-Site Small Animal Practice
Salary £40,000–£55,000 DOE | 4-Day Week | No OOH
At Lloyd & Cowan Veterinary Recruitment, we are working with a friendly, well-equipped small animal practice in Tyne & Wear seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive team.
Ideally located between Sunderland and Newcastle upon Tyne, this role is primarily based at a recently refurbished, purpose-built site in Boldon, with occasional cover at a nearby branch.
The Role

Full-time position (37.5 hours over 4 days preferred; part-time considered)

Working hours between 8:30am–7:00pm

1 in 4 Saturdays (9:00am–3:00pm)

No out-of-hours requirement

Varied GP caseload including routine surgery and medical work-ups

Well-supported by an experienced team of vets and RVNs

Ongoing development actively encouraged
This role would suit a vet confident with routine procedures such as neutering and lump removals, who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

£1,750 CPD allowance with strong support for further training
