Our client that we are pleased to be working with are looking for a driven and conscientious Veterinary Surgeon to join their fantastic team. This role will include a mix of consults and surgery. You’ll be working between their Cookridge and Greengate branches. On average you’ll be working 42 hours per week with 1:5 weekends. The role offers a healthy work life balance as there’s no requirement for on call or out of hours. They understand that everyone’s circumstances are different, therefore they’re more than happy to support part time applicants as well.

A salary of up to £60,000 depending on experience.

This practice is situated in picturesque North West Leeds. They have excellent travel links as they’re very close to Leeds Bradford airport and within easy reach of Leeds, Harrogate and York whilst on the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales countryside. They can offer you the chance to immerse yourself in the peace and serenity of the Yorkshire countryside, or perhaps you’d prefer the vibrant and booming student culture within Leeds City.
About them:
They are RCVS accredited and ISFM Gold standard small animal general practice and working together as a bonded team they visualise you also becoming an integral part of the local community, very trusted to provide the absolute best care and advice available. They are a long-established team here and they greatly enjoy working with each other and the environment together. You’ll always have access to a dedicated mental health first aider on shift. They ensure that there are adequate breaks throughout the day to work up your caseload.
Team:
Their team is composed of 3 full time Vets, 10 strong RVN team, 3 ACAs and 4 SVNs. The clinical team is complimented by a PM as well as a dedicated reception team. Their team boasts a wide range of expertise, they have a certificate holder in imaging, as well as their CD that is a member of the faculty of Homeopathy.
Applicant Requirements:
The successful applicant will be qualified and registered with the RCVS. They are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, positive and organised with good communication skills. You will be a supportive team player with a high standard of patient care, you will also have a client-focused approach.
