We’re proud to be recruiting for one of the most senior veterinary leadership roles in Ireland — a unique opportunity to shape the future of clinical standards and influence the national veterinary agenda.

This is a rare chance for a highly experienced veterinary surgeon to take a strategic, high-impact role at the centre of clinical and operational leadership for a major veterinary group.

Contract: Permanent, Full-time (Mon–Fri, 40 hours/week)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Highly competitive + bonus + car + excellent benefits

The role:

  • A senior leadership role reporting directly to the Country CEO

  • Key member of both the Irish Leadership Team and Group Veterinary Medical Board

  • Autonomy to shape culture, support clinical teams, and drive innovation

  • National and international influence through engagement with regulators and stakeholders

  • Outstanding benefits package including bonus, car, generous leave, CPD, pension, wellbeing support and more

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead clinical strategy and professional standards across Ireland

  • Represent the clinical voice at senior level and in cross-functional areas (HR, Acquisitions, IT, Marketing)

  • Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations

  • Champion internal culture, support L&D, and guide the Clinical Board

  • Collaborate with the global clinical leadership team to ensure consistency and excellence

  • Act as a clinical ambassador and spokesperson for the profession

What they’re looking for:

  • Registered to practise in Ireland

  • Proven leadership experience at a senior or strategic level

  • Commercial awareness and the ability to balance clinical quality with business performance
