Practice Manager – Join Our Island Veterinary Team!

Are you an experienced veterinary professional ready to take your career to a stunning island location? We’re looking for a dynamic Practice Manager to lead and inspire our clinical and support teams in Bermuda. As Practice Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of the practice, overseeing the daily performance, culture, and service delivery of both our veterinary and reception teams. Reporting directly to the Director, you will have the authority to shape operational standards, staff development, and client care across the practice.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 7 years in a veterinary environment, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

• Leadership experience managing teams of 10–15 staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated culture.

• Clinical oversight experience — ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality veterinary care and client service.

• Strong operational skills, including billing, HR, compliance, and workplace safety.

• Familiarity with veterinary management software and technology systems.

• Flexibility and adaptability for life and work in a small island setting.

• Veterinary Surgeon (DVM) or Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualifications preferred but not essential.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of our island practice, including staff rostering, performance management, and client service excellence.

• Oversee clinical workflows to ensure best-practice medicine and high standards of care.

• Monitor performance metrics (KPIs) and implement initiatives to continuously improve efficiency and service quality.

• Ensure smooth financial operations, including timely and accurate charges, payments, and billing oversight.

• Collaborate with the Director to recruit, train, and retain top talent.

• Maintain compliance with all veterinary regulations, licensing, and workplace health and safety standards.

• Lead local marketing and community engagement initiatives to attract and retain clients.
