Our client who we are delighted to be working with are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team.

About them:

Their team consists of 4 full-time and 1 part-time Vets, with varied experience and special interests, including certificates in Medicine and Exotics.

A supportive team environment with 5 Vets, 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs, and 4 VCAs.

Their nursing team includes 3 experienced RVNs (with over 10 years of experience and multiple certificates), 2 Student Nurses, and a dedicated team of 4 VCAs who assist with both clinical and reception duties.

Who they are looking:

They are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with solid general consulting, surgical, and medical skills, including some experience in emergency surgery. Confidence in sole charge work is essential, as you will be the sole charge vet during weekends, supported by their nursing and reception team.

Working pattern:

  • Flexible working hours (16-40 hours per week) over a 7-day rota, with weekends shared among the team.

  • No out-of-hours (OOH) or on-call duties.

Salary:

A competitive salary of £40,000-£60,000 DOE.

Generous CPD allowance, with opportunities for certificates and further development.
