**Exciting Opportunity of the Week! Offering up to £75,000 + £10,000 Welcome Bonus & £10,000 Relocation Allowance!**

We have an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join this flexible family friendly team. The position is open to discussion on the hours that suit you – whether you’re considering a full-time, part-time, term-time or solely on call contract! What more could you ask for......

About:

The practice is a family-friendly practice on the beautiful island of the Isle of Wight. Not only will you get the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment which includes a CT scanner, laparoscopic surgery, video endoscopy, and a new ultrasound. Also, a fantastic team within a people-centric environment, they share, help, and encourage your development. If development is your thing, then they encourage you to do it with the enhanced CPD allowance, coupled with a solid team of experienced vets, this is a chance to really take your career to the next step!

Location:
While you aren’t at work you soon come to realise you are living somewhere quite special and unique. You may only be 3 miles off the south coast, an hour from the mainland with 80 ferry crossings per day, but right on your doorstep you have the coastal scenery, sailing, surfing, paddle boarding, golf, horse riding and some beautiful pubs - which we sample together on our regular team socials. Some of the best walking and cycling routes the UK has to offer are right on the island. Quality of life and work life balance are second to none. Who would of thought you are only 2 hours from London via train.

Team, team ,team - this is something they love to talk about! Their ethos is integral to be the best and give the best to their clients and patients. It enables them to be flexible, to support you and your family commitments and it also opens the door for the future prospects of taking on a director’s role within the practice.

They invest in you, equipment, clients and patients and always believe in open communication and honesty. Always pushing the boundaries and ensuring they are thinking about new ideas to challenge the current status quo in the veterinary industry. Striving to be leaders and not followers and take pride in being different from the rest so they can continue to provide the very best of care for patients.

Rota:

  • Again all options will be discussed, full, part time, weekend, On Call etc.

  • The on-call rota is shared equally between vets for weekend and weeknight duties, all hours will be considered upon application and we’re currently working on minimalizing the on-call duties.

  • Ensuring you have a work life balance to explore and make the most of this beautiful island is important. They are happy to accommodate specific interests so you can make this role your very own with options to perform more surgery or more consultations, other vets prefer to be out on the road more doing home visits.

In addition to a competitive base salary of up to £75,000 per year, you will benefit from:
