Veterinary Surgeon
Redditch, Worcestershire
Permanent | 30–37 hours per week | No OOH

We are pleased to be supporting a small, friendly, 100% small-animal practice in the heart of Redditch. The practice is RCVS PSS registered and proud of its welcoming, team-focused culture, offering a supportive and enjoyable workplace where everyone plays an important role.

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys a varied caseload and contributing to a close-knit team environment.

The Role

  • Permanent position

  • 30–37 hours per week

  • 3 or 4 days per week

  • 1 in 4 Saturdays (9:00am–2:00pm)

  • No out-of-hours or bank holidays

Salary: Up to £60,000 FTE (dependent on experience)

You will be joining a collaborative team of 4 FTE vets, 6 RVNs, 4 receptionists and a practice manager, all working together to create a genuinely positive and cohesive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • A mix of consultations and surgical procedures

  • Some sole-charge shifts

  • Supporting and mentoring veterinary students when on placement

  • Maintaining high standards of clinical care

You will have the clinical freedom to work up your own cases, with the support of an experienced and approachable team.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Experienced and confident in general practice

  • Friendly, supportive and team-oriented

  • Comfortable balancing consults, surgery and occasional sole charge

  • RCVS registered

This role would suit someone who will integrate naturally into a relaxed yet professional setting.
