This modern, well-equipped small animal clinic provides a high standard of patient care and is supported by a friendly and experienced team of veterinarians, nurses, and support staff. The practice has excellent facilities, including dedicated consultation rooms, a fully equipped surgical theatre, digital X-ray, dental equipment, and in-house laboratory capabilities.
The clinic manages a varied caseload, allowing veterinarians to develop their skills across both medical and surgical cases while working collaboratively with experienced colleagues.
The Role
This position would suit a veterinarian who enjoys both consulting and surgery and values working in a supportive, team-focused environment.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing medical cases from consultation through to diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up

Performing routine soft tissue surgeries and assisting with more complex procedures where appropriate

Building strong client relationships through clear communication and compassionate care

Maintaining high clinical standards and continuing professional development

Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for patients

Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

A recognised veterinary degree eligible for registration with the Veterinary Council of New Zealand
