About:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an amazing team here at a Small Animal Veterinary Hospital, based in Ireland.
Day to day duties will include small animal consultations, working up medical and surgical cases, routine surgeries within the successful candidates scope of expertise.
The role includes 5 days per week, with 1 in 6 weekends 1st on call. It will include 1 night on call per week.
About the Practice:
The practice is a progressive, purpose built, newly extended small animal hospital with a large team of enthusiastic, helpful and highly skilled professionals. All mod cons- new designated lab (equipped with Idexx Lab Station), hydrotherapy, ultrasound, dental suite, cardiologist, orthopaedics etc. CPD and further certificate studies encouraged and funded. The Team:
The team includes 7 vets, 6 nurses, 1 canine physiotherapist, 2 kennel assistants, 3 receptionists, 4-person admin/management team. They have Cardiology and Surgery certificate holders. Specialists in physiotherapy, ultrasound, and reproduction. The successful candidate will have a medical/surgical role with exciting opportunities to develop areas of interest.
The Ideal Requirement:
Experience desirable but not essential; we would like our new team member to have an enthusiastic, outgoing nature and a keen clinical aptitude.
