Opportunities for experienced small animal vets in Northern Ireland are genuinely few and far between right now, which is why this one is well worth a look.

I’m working with a large, well established practice in Dungannon who are looking to welcome an experienced Veterinary Surgeon into their multi site, highly collaborative team. This is a brilliant option for a vet who enjoys a strong medicine and advanced clinical caseload, wants access to excellent facilities, and is keen to develop within a supportive, structured environment.

You’d be working with a mix of first and second opinion cases, and benefiting from a practice that is actively developing a cert led regional centre for client and patient focused care.

The Role

  • Small animal only
  • First and second opinion caseload
  • Strong medicine, soft tissue, orthopaedic and ECC exposure
  • Ideal for a vet interested in, or already undertaking, a medicine related certificate
  • Structured progression and development pathways

Facilities & Support

  • Ultrasound
  • Endoscopy
  • Digital X ray
  • In house laboratory
  • Excellent internal support and mentoring
  • Certificates and CPD strongly encouraged

What’s On Offer

  • Salary up to £65,000 pro rata (DOE & responsibilities)
  • 6.6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays
  • £1,750 CPD allowance per annum
  • RCVS, VDS and professional memberships paid
  • Enhanced sick pay
  • Enhanced Family Leave
  • Clear career progression opportunities

Why This One Stands Out

  • Rare small animal opportunity in NI
  • Large, experienced vet team around you
  • Heavy investment in clinical standards and development
  • Family feel culture with corporate level support
