Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
Applications close: 16th February

RVN opportunities in Northern Ireland are few and far between right now, which makes this a fantastic chance to join a well equipped, RCVS accredited small animal practice with a genuinely supportive and progressive team.

I’m working with a first and second opinion small animal practice in Dungannon that’s looking to welcome a Registered Veterinary Nurse into their friendly, dynamic nursing team. The practice sees a varied and interesting caseload across medicine, soft tissue, and orthopaedics, and places a strong emphasis on high clinical standards and nurse utilisation.

This is a great option for an RVN who enjoys being hands on, working up cases, and being part of a team that values nursing input.

The Role

  • Small animal only
  • First and second opinion caseload
  • Hands on nursing role across theatre, inpatient care, and consults
  • Supportive, collaborative team environment
  • OOH on a rota basis with time off in lieu

Facilities & Support

  • Ultrasound
  • Endoscopy
  • Digital X ray
  • In house laboratory
  • Support from experienced vets and nurses
  • CPD encouraged and supported

What’s On Offer

  • Salary £27,000–£33,000 DOE
  • 6 weeks paid holiday
  • Bank Holidays off
  • CPD allowance per annum
  • RCVS and VDS paid
  • Enhanced sick pay
  • Enhanced family leave
  • Career progression opportunities

Why This One Stands Out

  • Rare RVN opportunity in NI
  • Varied hospital level caseload
  • Supportive, forward thinking team
  • Strong facilities and investment in development
