The Practice is located on Guernsey, Channel Islands, with crystal clear water, sandy beaches, beautiful cliff walks and all the benefits of an Offshore Island. The island is a place where you can enjoy a slower pace of life and escape from the daily commute which here is anything between 5 to 20 minutes, depending on whether it’s the ducks or cows crossing the road on your way to work.
About the Practice:
You will be part of a multicultural, supportive and highly skilled team of 35, including 8 Veterinary Surgeons. The practice has a family feel, with a real emphasis on a team approach, and it has a real presence in the community.
The surgery is equipped with all the latest technologies, including a CT scanner, an in-house laboratory providing the most advanced testing and diagnostics, digital X-ray, a visiting high-field MRI, colour Doppler ultrasound, endoscopy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy and fluoroscopy allowing the team to provide a revolutionary service to our patients and customers, including both advanced orthopaedic, neuro and soft tissue surgery.
The surgery consists of cat and dog ward, an isolation unit, intensive care and two operating theatres, one for orthopaedic procedures and the other dedicated to soft tissue and minimal invasive surgery.
The practice provides its own Out-of-hours with a un-demanding shared rota.
