Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are delighted to be working with a practice who have an exciting opportunity that has become available for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them.

Their Registered Veterinary Nurses are the absolute backbone of their practice, and generally have a hand in most areas of the day-to-day which include carrying out schedule 3 procedures (subject to appropriate training), anaesthesia monitoring, scrubbing in, looking after their inpatient care, carrying out various types of nurse clinics, completing laboratory duties and much more! There is the opportunity to become a clinical coach in the future if of interest where you will be supporting the Head Nurse in the supervision/training of their SVNs and ANAs.


They try to keep things interesting/varied, so their Registered Veterinary Nurses typically work full time, 40 hours per week, across 4/5 days, consisting of either an early shift (8:00 am to 4.30 pm) or a late (11:00 am to 7.30 pm). Their nurses also work 1 in 3 Saturdays and in turn, receive time off in lieu the following week and there is no OOH.

Their deceivingly large and airy practice boasts 4 consult rooms; a dedicated X-ray and ultrasound room; a large modern theatre and a prep room. This is a unique opportunity to join a friendly team and work in a supportive environment that offers the scope for further development in your chosen area of interest.

Their friendly team consist of 3 Vets, 1 Head RVN, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN, and 1 ANA, who are all supported by their wonderfully efficient receptionists. Their clinic has an established client base, and their team are passionate about providing gold-standard care to their clients and their pets.


​Salary up to £30,000 FTE depending on experience plus a welcome bonus up to £2,500
