Our Client is looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their fantastic team in Bristol on a permanent basis!
They are based very near the city centre, in a lovely upbeat vibrant area with a united community. There is always something happening! Their great location means we benefit from a good variety of cases and a wonderful loyal client base.
The well-equipped surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and you’ll get use of the large theatre, very good Ultrasound machine, Digital X-ray, Dental X-ray and our in-house Idexx lab machines. They are also proud to be a Silver accredited cat friendly practice, who love felines!
The Team:
You’ll be joining an experienced team including 4 Nurses, 4 vets (3 part time), 5 Client Care Advisors, and 1 VCA.
The Ideal Vet:
As a successful candidate, you will have good general veterinary skills, excellent communication skills and be enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare.
You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both clients and the team.
The Role:
This is a part time position working 12.5hrs per week, the hours include:
Fridays 8.30-7pm (1 hour lunch – 9.5hrs paid) and,
Saturday mornings sole charge 9am-12pm (You will be paid time and a half for Saturday mornings - 4.5hrs paid)
There is possibility to negotiate a rota for Saturday mornings, i.e. 1 in 8 off. Flexible in making it a consulting only position if this is preferable too.
