This role offers a starting salary of £32,500 plus £2000 London weighting and £750 CPD allowance.

Salary, hours and benefits:

  • - Starting salary £32,500 per annum

  • - Plus £2000 London weighting allowance

  • - 4-day week with 1:4 weekends (with view to move to 1:6) 

  • - Hours 08:30-18:00 and 10:00-19:00 / 38.66 hours per week

Key Accountabilities:

In this role you will assist with financial and operational performance of your practice as well as the overall team performance and engagement.

You'll take pride in the delivery of exceptional clinical quality and care, encouraging a progressive clinical culture.

You'll work closely with the Lead Vet as well as their wider teams to ensure the general smooth running of your practice, from Practice Standards to Health & Safety, and ensure things such as debt is managed and controlled and any complaints are dealt with appropriately.

As a Head Nurse and Clinical Coach, you will develop and support your direct reports, holding one to ones and providing regular feedback on their performance, as well as taking action to create a positive environment that results in stable retention for your branch.

The Branch:

This practice is situated in Abbeville Village in the heart of Clapham, South London. 

It is a lovely practice which is fast paced and provides similar environment to that of a mini hospital - great if you like keeping nice and busy!

The team is made up of three Vets - two of which have over ten years’ experience with certificate holders in Cardiology and Endosurgery. The nursing team is made up of the HRVN (that's you!) RVN, Student Nurse and two Client Care Assistants. 

This branch performs a high volume of procedures including endoscopy, cardiac scans and lap spays, equipped with endoscopes, ultrasound, laparoscopic stack system for keyhole surgery, full in house lab, ethylene oxide sterilisation and digital x-ray.
