Our client who we are thrilled to be working with is looking for a veterinary surgeon to join their team working a four-day week with no out of hours/bank holidays and 1:9 Saturday mornings with TOIL.
They are a friendly and supportive team of 9 vets with a wide range of interests including medicine, surgery and ECC certificate holders so there’s always someone there to give you support and encourage your development. They have two sites, both with operating and laboratory facilities.
The specifics of the role can be catered towards your strengths and interests:
They perform a wide range of surgeries including cruciate and patella surgery, laparoscopic procedures, and BOAS surgery, so if you’re interested in developing your surgical skills then this role would be ideal for you.
They also have a wide range of diagnostic equipment (including Imagyst, ultrasound, dental radiography, endoscopy and i-STAT) so if medicine is your area of interest, then you’ll be happy to know they are able to work up the vast majority of cases in house and have dedicated hospital shifts which are a mix of caring for in patients and seeing emergency cases, as well as usual consulting and operating days
Salary:
The salary range is £35,000 – £60,000 dependent on experience (additional certificates or experience may negotiate a higher salary bracket) and well-behaved pets are very welcome to come to work with you.
