Looking for a true mixed animal role where you can build strong client relationships, work across both production and companion animals, and enjoy a genuine rural lifestyle?

The Role

This is a permanent mixed animal position with a balanced caseload across dairy and companion animals, offering variety and professional satisfaction.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Working with dairy clients on herd health, production, and on-farm care

  • Companion animal consultations, diagnostics, and treatment

  • Building long-term relationships with clients and the local community

  • Delivering practical, high-quality veterinary care across a diverse caseload

  • Participating in a shared on-call rota

This is a role where you’ll have real autonomy while still being supported by a collaborative team.

  • Confidence working both independently and collaboratively

  • Eligibility to practice in New Zealand
