Therefore, we are delighted to be working with a modern established Veterinary Practice in the Holyhead area, who are seeking to appoint a Veterinary Surgeon.

Develop your career with support from our experienced team of Vets that includes where the Lead Vet has a particular interest in small animal surgery and orthopaedics and holds a PGCertSAS.

You will have access to a varied caseload that ranges from the standard & more specialist services and treatments, such as chemotherapy, echocardiograms, ECG, video endoscope and bronchoscope for non-invasive investigations and advanced surgeries.

Established loyal client base. Equipment is extensive and includes modern IDEXX in-house laboratory (catalyst, procyte, sedivue, ua analyser), digital AGFA CR X-ray, video endoscope and bronchoscope, colour Doppler ultrasound with ECG, tonopen and a slit lamp.

Requirements:

  • Relevant companion animal nursing experience

  • Ability to assist veterinary surgeon in routine and non-routine ops, good knowledge of emergency nursing

  • Excellent communication skills

  • RCVS registration

Remuneration:

  • Up to £65,000 DOE

  • £5,000 Welcome Bonus
