We are representing a great practice, situated at the edge of Belfast. It is a bright, spacious, air-conditioned well equipped clinic and you will join a dedicated, supportive team made up of 2 experienced vets, 2 RVNs and 2 SVNs, and 2 VCS/receptionists. As a team they believe in supporting each other and creating an enjoyable work environment, while targeting a good work life balance.
Lots of support is offered off site, allowing them to concentrate on serving patients with clinical freedom. To do this they monitor patient flow to ensure that books are well balanced offering consistency in care, and this ensures that they can focus on colleagues’ well-being (client list semi-closed since early 2021). They have also maintained a fair local pricing; this allows them to keep bill related stress to a minimum.
Hours:
They work off a 36-hour week, and make sure every single bit of overtime is returned as time in lieu or extra pay.
You will be required to work 1 in 3 weekends but there is no on-call or OOH.
Salary range £35-60k depending on experience.
They could also accommodate an experienced vet from January (when existing vet heads off to explore the world/Australia), but as they are passionate about development, they would be happy to start a new graduate as soon as possible to allow for a gentle easing in, as well as partaking in the award winner graduate programme.
