We at Lloyd & Cowan are thrilled to be working with a practice who have a fantastic opportunity that has arisen for a full time Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their practice. The practice has a fully supportive team that enjoy lots of laughs and are dedicated to their clients and patients.
The position involves working as part of a 4 vet, 5 RVN team at their main Clinic. Consultations are on average 15 minutes and vets are encouraged to follow their cases.
Surgical caseload is shared equally.
Case discussions are encouraged and welcomed.
Salary and Benefits;
A comprehensive package up to £65,000
5 weeks’ annual leave
4 weeks’ paid sabbatical (after each 5 years of service)
Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Pay
CPD Allowance plus 3 days CPD leave (FTE)
RCVS, BVA and VDS fees paid
Skills and experience:
You must be an experienced vet with a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years’ UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience. Strong management and mentor skills are essential as you will play a crucial part within the team.
