Veterinary Surgeon – Full or Part Time
Our client has an exciting opportunity that has arisen for a veterinary surgeon to join their fun and friendly team in Derby, Kingsway. This successful small animal practice is close to the A38 with good transport links to Nottingham, Burton and the Peak District. They’re seeking an enthusiastic, newly qualified or experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team on a full time basis.

Their modern surgery has been designed to industry leading standards, with state of the art equipment and in-house laboratory facilities. They are a Rabbit Friendly Practice and a silver standard ICC Cat Friendly Clinic, working regularly with Cats Protection. Their Partner, is a 1999 Bristol graduate and leads a supportive team of 2 other vets, 5 nurses, and 3 client care advisors.
Ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate to join their professional team will have good general small animal surgical and medical skills as well as a good knowledge of working up cases. This rewarding position includes shared weekend rota of 1 in 3 weekends, 4 day week and occasional sole charge but no OOH. You will be part of a team dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care. They are able to consider candidates looking for full time hours (40 hours per week) or a job share between two part time Vets. Would be ideal for a new graduate.
