We at Lloyd & Cowan are delighted to be working with a practice who are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who is focused on clinical excellence and teamwork to join them. They have a steady caseload and you will have access to first opinion surgical cases and daytime emergencies alongside consults. You’ll be joining an experienced and collaborative team who are keen to welcome new colleagues. 

Rota:

Typically a full time position includes a 4-day working week plus some Saturday mornings and the occasional Saturday afternoon. There is no OOHs however you will be required to cover 1:9 weeks of inpatient care (Monday to Friday evenings only).

About them:

They have multiple nurse training centres within their group, and have certificate holders in orthopaedics, surgery, medicine, cardiology and imaging. They also have vets with special interests in dermatology, oncology, ECC and dentistry making it an excellent learning environment. Their team have a wealth of experience and you will be fully supported.

All of their surgeries are extensively equipped and they strive for clinical excellence. They have DR X-Ray, Dental X-Ray, Ultrasonograph, Laparoscopy, Endoscopy, 2 Surgical theatres, capnography and in house Lab. They are well embedded in the local area, having started in 1947. Chichester is a beautiful, small city within West Sussex sandwiched between the stunning south coast and the South Downs. Fantastic outdoor activities are available and yet central London is only an hour away by train with great transport links to Europe. 

Salary:

​Salary up to £75,000 DOE pro rata plus up to £5,000 Welcome Bonus and up to £5,000 Relocation Allowance
