A long-established and highly regarded small animal practice is seeking a Clinical Director to lead their experienced team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious veterinary surgeon ready to take the next step, or an existing Clinical Director looking for a fresh challenge in a progressive and collaborative environment.
The Role
As Clinical Director, you’ll lead the clinical and operational direction of the practice. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to shape services, develop the team, and maintain high clinical standards across the board. Your focus will be on client care, team engagement, and practice growth, with plenty of support from experienced peers and central resources.
You’ll have protected admin time, regular leadership support, and the chance to focus on what matters to you; whether that’s mentoring, clinical improvement, or developing your own specialism. If you hold or are working towards a certificate, that will be fully supported.
The Practice
This is a modern, well-equipped site with two theatres, separate cat and dog wards, and a wide range of diagnostic tools including digital x-ray, ultrasound, bronchoscope, endoscope, dental suite with dental x-ray, and full in-house lab. The practice is Cat Friendly (Silver) and Dog Friendly accredited.
The current team includes multiple experienced vets, RVNs, and support staff, many of whom have been with the practice long term. The culture is built on open communication, regular feedback, and a genuine passion for patient care. There’s a strong emphasis on wellbeing, team-building, and work-life balance.
