An established small animal clinic in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs is seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinarian to join a supportive and collaborative team.

The Clinic

The clinic is located within the popular Stud Park shopping complex in Rowville, a vibrant suburb approximately 30 minutes from central Melbourne.

The practice is currently a single-veterinarian clinic supported by an experienced business manager and a skilled veterinary nursing team, providing excellent support for consultations, diagnostics, and surgery.

The clinic is well-equipped and designed to deliver high-quality small animal care, including:

  • Two consultation rooms

  • Spacious reception and waiting area

  • Sterile operating theatre

  • Digital X-ray and dental X-ray

  • In-house laboratory and diagnostic equipment

  • Regular visits from medical and surgical specialists

  • Access to nearby veterinary hospitals for referrals and overnight care

The practice continues to grow, with consistent new client enquiries and strong potential to expand the case load.


The Role

The position offers a balanced mix of consultations, case management, diagnostics, and surgery, allowing you to fully utilise your clinical skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing medical cases from consultation through treatment and follow-up

  • Performing routine surgical procedures and developing further surgical skills

  • Delivering clear and compassionate communication with clients

  • Maintaining high clinical standards and patient care

  • Supporting a collaborative and positive team culture

  • Contributing to the continued development and success of the clinic
