An independent small animal practice in the Lancashire area is looking to welcome a new veterinary surgeon to their growing team.
This role would suit someone confident with general first opinion work, including consultations, routine surgery, and dentistry. The team is experienced, supportive, and open to both established vets and those ready to step into more responsibility as the practice continues to grow.
The Role
Full-time or part-time options available
40 hours across 4, 4.5, or 5 days
Weekend rota on a 7-week cycle
No out-of-hours, with all OOH covered externally
Sole charge required at times, particularly at branch level
Main site typically has two vets working together
Each site supported by experienced nurse leads
The Practice
Independently owned with a strong clinical focus
Well-equipped facilities including ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray, haematology, electrosurgery, and automated urinalysis
Cloud-based PMS integrated with IDEXX diagnostics
Supportive of development and clinical freedom
The Package
Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience
27 days holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday off
