​We are delighted to collaborate with a distinguished veterinary hospital who are seeking a dedicated Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of a state-of-the-art facility renowned for its comprehensive services and commitment to excellence in patient care.​

About the Hospital: This award-winning 24-hour veterinary hospital offers a wide array of advanced services, including orthopaedics, neurology, rehabilitation (hydrotherapy and physiotherapy), imaging (CT scanner), soft tissue surgery, stem cell therapy, and laparoscopic procedures. The facility is equipped with modern diagnostic tools such as digital X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory capabilities, ensuring high-quality care for a diverse patient base. 

The Team: The hospital boasts a robust team comprising 15 Veterinary Surgeons (including an out-of-hours team), 24 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 3 Student Veterinary Nurses, 5 Animal Care Assistants, and a dedicated non-clinical support staff. The collaborative environment fosters professional growth and encourages case discussions to uphold the highest standards of veterinary medicine.​

The Role: As a member of the first-opinion day team, you will engage in a variety of cases, both surgical and medical, within a supportive setting that values continuous learning and development. The hospital's commitment to comprehensive patient care allows for thorough case workups and the opportunity to manage cases to a high standard.​

Schedule:

  • Full-time position averaging 41.5 hours per week.​

  • Work pattern includes three weekdays and alternate weekends, averaging four working days per week.​
