About You:
A Certificate IV holder or working towards Certificate IV with a minimum of 1-year full time experience

About the clinic:

This practice that believes that gaining further knowledge and in-clinic learning is important to all staff. The vets are always helping the nurses learn and improve their skills, with the belief that no question is too silly to ask!
The clinic loves to use Fear Free techniques and gentle handling to make sure patients have the best treatment and experience possible with the least amount of stress.
The Role:
A FULL-TIME position, with rostered weekend shifts with some OCCASIONAL on-call work for caesarean procedures.
General reception tasks; including admission and discharge of surgical patients, have good client communication and liaison and product knowledge.
Undertaking general nursing tasks; including monitoring pre, peri and post-operative surgical patients, assistance with radiographs as well as performing dental radiographs, placing IV catheters, animal pathology, medical nursing, and emergency care, assisting the vet with animal restraint in consultations etc.
Cattery duties; including animal handling, nutritional and environmental enrichment tasks.
The ability to learn and assist in the use of Clinic-Ware Software, IDEXX Catalyst machinery, Digital and Dental Radiology and Laser Therapy Treatment.
