Registered Veterinary Nurse – North/West Yorkshire

Are you a qualified and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a rewarding role within a supportive and forward-thinking team?

We’re working on behalf of a respected, multi-branch veterinary practice based in North/West Yorkshire. With excellent transport links and close proximity to the Yorkshire Dales, this role offers the perfect balance between professional development and lifestyle.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that places genuine value on collaboration, clinical excellence, and staff wellbeing.

About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on clinical role where you’ll be involved in surgical nursing, inpatient care, consultations, and recovery. You’ll work closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager and Lead Nurses, contributing to high-quality patient care and supporting a strong, positive team culture.

You’ll also be encouraged to contribute ideas, take part in branch meetings, and play an active role in shaping how care is delivered across the team.

What We’re Looking For

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

  • Strong communication and teamworking skills

  • Confidence in managing a varied caseload

  • A proactive approach and keen eye for detail

  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care

Work-Life Balance

The rota is designed with flexibility and wellbeing in mind. Weekend work is limited and shared evenly, with minimal Saturday morning cover and no night work required. Optional participation in occasional night work is available for those who prefer it. Bank Holiday shifts are flexible and can be discussed based on your preferences.

What’s on Offer

The practice offers a competitive salary package, with additional support for professional development and training. You'll benefit from a range of employee-focused benefits, including support for continued learning, generous leave, professional memberships, and an overall focus on maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Location

The role covers three branches across North and West Yorkshire, with easy access to both rural and urban settings. It's an ideal location for someone seeking variety in their role and lifestyle.
