Registered Veterinary Nurse – Shape Your Career in a Hospital-Grade Practice
Gloucestershire | Full or Part-Time | No OOH | Salary £25–32K DOE

Ready to work somewhere that actually walks the talk on team culture, development, and clinical standards?

We’re working with a progressive, multi-disciplinary veterinary practice in Gloucestershire that has recently undergone a full redevelopment — and they’re looking for a confident, motivated RVN to join their large, well-established nursing team.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to be part of an RCVS-accredited hospital that blends high clinical standards with a positive, team-first environment. Whether you’re driven by surgical nursing, schedule 3, mentoring SVNs, or growing into a specific area of interest, you’ll be supported to do just that.

Why this role stands out:

  • No OOHs – a dedicated night team has you covered

  • Large, experienced nursing team with a collaborative culture

  • Flexibility for full-time or part-time hours

  • Opportunities to coach, specialise, and upskill

  • A full caseload – plus time to laugh, celebrate, and be human

From clinical development to pancake days, team socials, CPD funding, and wellbeing perks, this is a workplace that balances professionalism with personality. If you’re looking for more than just a rota and a payslip, you’ve found it.

What’s on offer:

  • Salary between £25,000 and £32,000 depending on experience

  • £600 CPD budget + paid CPD days

  • Fully funded RCVS, VDS & BVNA fees

  • Health & wellbeing benefits (including dental, physio, sports massage)

  • Enhanced family leave

  • Staff discounts on veterinary care and pet health plans

  • Cycle to Work scheme & other lifestyle perks

  • Weekend rota currently 1 in 7, with time off in lieu

  • Annual salary reviews

If you want to build your career in a supportive, forward-thinking practice with a big-hearted team — we’d love to tell you more.

Apply in confidence to find out if this could be the right next step for you.
