A well-established veterinary clinic in the vibrant Durham region is seeking an experienced veterinarian with 5+ years of practice to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for building relationships with pet owners and support staff while providing the highest standard of care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and provide nutritional advice
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, team-based care
  • Engage with clients to ensure the best possible care for their pets
  • Mentor and coach students along their DVM journey
  • Stay current with developments in veterinary medicine through continued learning and networking

Qualifications:

  • A valid full veterinarian license to practice in Ontario
  • Experience in soft tissue surgeries, preventative care, and providing nutritional advice
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with colleagues, clients, and the community
  • A passion for mentoring students and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Interest in attending conferences and networking with other veterinary professionals
