Upon joining the team, you will work alongside 8 vets, 2 vets are working towards certificates, 8 RVNs and fantastic support team of 10. They are a very happy, well-organised and supportive team, and if you have the same beliefs in teamwork and providing excellent patient care!
They're a well-established and well-equipped first opinion practice, not only have they invested in their team’s development, but have also invested in additional equipment, such as - ultrasound machine including a cardiac probe, digital Xray machine and dental Xray, therapeutic laser, a range of pumps, tonovet. The practice's highly experienced surgeons offer additional services such as soft tissue surgery, Orthopaedic, laparoscopic, and endoscopic procedures across the Bristol region.
They have also recently expanded the practice and its facilities, creating an additional theatre, more kennel space and consult rooms as well as a large modern, and well-equipped colleague room.
As a joint venture practice, they have complete Clinical freedom and no targets or clinical restrictions on how to work cases up. They work together as a clinical team to provide the best possible options for our client’s pets and their resources.

The Ideal Vet:
They are looking for a forward-thinking, Veterinary Surgeon who is enthusiastic and self-motivated. You’ll have great communication, general surgical and medical skills. However, the role would also suit a consulting only vet with a medical bias.

About the Role:
Lunch breaks and overtime.
Full time is 40hrs - 4-day week with a 1:6 weekend rota (weekend week - work 3 days plus the weekend)
Part time– (A couple of vets currently do 2-3 10hr days per week) 1:6 weekend rota
During midweek they have at least 4 vets, each sharing a mixture of consulting (15mins appointments, 30min for more complicated cases) floating and Surgery time.
They also dedicate catch up time in the diary, as well as admin time to make your calls, referrals etc. Sole charge at weekends only (with phone support if required)
