About:

Lloyd & Cowan are delighted to be representing an Exciting opportunity in the amazing city of Dublin, Ireland! The Small Animal Hospital has a position for a VCI Registered & Experienced Small Animal Vet to join their Large Team of Friendly Vets, Nurses & Support Staff.

The hospital is fully equipped hospital with everything needed to perform the highest quality of medicine and surgery. The equipment includes full Wolf laparoscopy kit, flexible endoscopy, electrosurgey units, full ortho kits, and much more and they pride themselves on our teamwork and our patient-first approach.

The Role:

  • The role will involve a mix of surgical and consulting shifts. You will be working with at least two other Veterinary Surgeons on all the shifts.

  • The rota will involve working 39 hours per week over 4 days. We are very flexible when it comes to shift patterns. The role will also include working 1 in 3 weekends.

  • There are no out of hours with this role.

The Team:

At the practice, they currently have 9 Veterinary Surgeons, 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Animal Care Assistants, and 4 Receptionists. Each team member has their own area of interest including ortho, imaging, exotics, etc so there’s always someone to bounce ideas off.

The Ideal Vet:

  • If you enjoy a busy and varied caseload, top-quality first opinion medicine, a patient-focused approach, and teamwork we would love to hear from you!

  • Ideally you would be able to hit the ground running in relation to managing medical cases and performing a good level of surgery.

  • We are looking for a VCI registered Veterinary Surgeon who demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
