We at Lloyd & Cowan are delighted to be working with a practice who are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join their small but friendly team, providing excellent care to their loyal client base and their pets. Ideally, you will be an experienced surgeon, although a confident new graduate could be considered.

You will have great communication skills and be approachable and compassionate. An ability to handle routine surgeries is desirable, as would be an interest in ultrasonography.

About the practice:

This practice is one of the longest-established veterinary clinics in Truro. They are a three-vet practice that take pride in providing their clients with a friendly, approachable service and a high standard of excellent, compassionate care for their patients.

Most of their small team of vets, five nurses and a receptionist have been with the practice for many years, and countless numbers of their clients have been with us for even longer (in some cases, over 40 years!). They have a genuinely close bond between team members, clients, and patients alike and regard each other as family.

The successful candidate for this role will be warmly welcomed into their team, and benefit from a genuinely supportive environment. They actively encourage CPD and are happy to support colleagues who wish to advance their knowledge by undertaking Advanced Practitioner certificates.

Salary:

Salary up to £52,000 DOE
