Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are delighted to be working with a practice who are on the look out for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. Caseload is varied and supported with excellent equipment.
About them:
Join their friendly, RCVS-accredited hospital, where they pride themselves on high standards of patient care. Their spacious, purpose-built facility includes 6 operating theatres, separate wards for cats, dogs, and exotics, an in-house lab, and digital x-ray. They have a team of 11 vets supported by over 20 experienced nurses.
Schedule:
Work a 4-day week with a consistent day off and a shared out-of-hours rota (1 in 8 weekends and approximately 1 night per week).
Professional Development:
They offer strong support for those interested in pursuing further qualifications, with access to an exotics diplomat and an experienced surgery certificate holder.
Ideal for vets with 1–4 years of experience, though support is available for new graduates.
Salary:
Will be £37,000 – £60,000 depending on skills and experience.
