Salary up to £53,000 DOE | Full or Part-time | 4-day week | No OOH | Branch & Hospital Exposure

Looking for a genuinely supportive team where you can develop your skills, enjoy a good work-life balance, and feel valued day to day? This well-equipped small animal practice in the heart of Kent could be the perfect fit.

The Role
This position offers a great mix of consults and surgery, with the chance to fully work up your own cases. You’ll handle a varied caseload alongside a talented team and enjoy the reassurance of having hospital support nearby for any complex or overnight cases.

Full-time equates to a 4-day week (40 hours), with just 1 in 5 Saturday mornings and no out-of-hours. Flexible or part-time options can also be discussed.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • A friendly, two-vet practice equipped with digital and dental X-ray, new ultrasound, and in-house lab
  • Opportunity to rotate through a local hospital or other branch sites for further development
  • Support from experienced colleagues with interests across surgery, radiography, dermatology, ophthalmology, anaesthesia and dentistry
  • A close-knit team who value great communication, collaboration and a good laugh outside of work too!

About You
You’ll be a confident and compassionate vet who enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and colleagues. Some sole charge will be part of the role, so you should feel comfortable working independently when needed, but you’ll never be short of support.

Benefits Include

  • 5 weeks’ annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Birthday leave
  • RCVS & VDS fees paid
  • Funded CPD, plus access to extensive online learning
  • Enhanced sick pay and family leave
  • Life assurance and pension contributions
  • Staff discounts
  • Wellbeing programme
  • And more!

If you’re looking for a progressive, community-focused practice where you can really thrive, this could be your next step.
