We’re working with a well-established, multi-branch independent group in Dublin that’s now looking to welcome an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their busy North Dublin site on a permanent basis.
This is a four-day week role with no out-of-hours or overnight work, and a weekend rota of just 1.5 in 6. The position is sole charge, so would best suit someone confident in both consults and routine surgery, comfortable leading the day with the support of a dedicated nursing and reception team.
You’ll have autonomy over your caseload but still benefit from being part of a wider network of experienced vets and certificate holders across other locations—ideal if you want both independence and professional backup when needed.
The Details
- €60,000–€70,000 salary depending on experience
- 4-day week with no Saturdays or bank holidays
- 1.5 in 6 Sundays only (10am–2pm)
- Full clinical freedom with support from wider team
- Well-equipped practice with opportunity to develop services further
- Not suitable for new graduates or those requiring close supervision
