Small Animal Vet

The clinic was founded in 2015 to provide outstanding small animal care. Since then, we have grown from a one vet/nurse clinic to a team of 5 Vets and 7 registered nurses. Sadly, one of our veterinarians will leave New Zealand’s shores for her home country and family.

A well-known and highly respected Small Animal Clinic, and we are spoiled with progressive equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, full dental suite, in house laboratory, a fully equipped surgical suite, no afterhours consultations, dedicated nursing staff, fantastic clients and so much more! At present we are expanding our clinic to four consultations rooms, a dedicated dental suite, and a tranquillity room.

We are looking for a highly motivated veterinarian (full or part time) who is keen to be part of a busy and stimulating environment. You will be working in an amazing team headed by vets and nurses with over 100 years’ experience who are true team players and support each other. Our team honours the health and happiness of all pets and people, and it is our firm belief that you cannot put a price on passion and dedication.

As our ideal candidate you have

  • a BVSc or equivalent

  • the registration to practice in New Zealand

  • confidence in medicine and surgery

  • a commitment to provide exceptional patient care and

  • the ability to oversee the caseload.

A cat friendly gold clinic (awarded by the ISFM in 2015), we will soon offer not only one but two cat only consultations rooms and most of our nurses have been awarded with the Certificate of Feline Nursing by the IFSM. Our staff of veterinarians have been able to pursue their interests in areas like ultrasound, behavioural medicine, diagnostic procedures, and surgery.

Work-life balance is important to us and our full-time vets work 4 days per week. There is no afterhours or Sunday work. On Saturdays we are only open from 9am – 12pm and our vets work on an alternating roster to cover Saturday mornings.

If you wish to apply send a CV through the link with a mention of when you will be available for a registration call.
