Experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Independent Practice | Growing Team | East Grinstead Area
An established and forward-thinking independent veterinary group is seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon (5+ years’ experience) to join their expanding team, with a new branch opening next month.

The practice holds Gold Standard ISFM Cat Friendly status and is accredited under the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme (Small Animal GP), reflecting their commitment to high clinical standards.
The Role

Full-time position
-
£50,000 – £65,000 FTE (DOE)

Choice of 8 or 10-hour shifts, with built-in and protected admin time

15-minute consults as standard
-
30-minute consults for complex cases
-
1-hour appointments for euthanasia
-
Mindfully structured diary to ensure clinical and admin time is protected

Around 1 in 6 Saturdays (average)

Overnight inpatient care covered by a dedicated night nurse
You’ll be supported by a large and experienced team of Veterinary Nurses, and overtime or Saturday work is compensated with time off in lieu.
The practice also utilises modern systems, including PetsApp, to improve client communication and workflow efficiency.
