An expanding independent small animal veterinary group is recruiting Experienced Veterinary Surgeons to join their recently opened, purpose-built hospital facility in Crawley.
Following continued growth, the practice is seeking:

The Practice
This state-of-the-art hospital spans four floors and provides first-class facilities, including:

Species-specific waiting areas, consult rooms, and wards for feline, canine, and exotic patients

Two fully equipped theatres with laparoscopic equipment

Separate dental suite with dental X-ray

Digital X-ray suite

Siemens CT scanner

In-house laboratory

Dedicated modern inpatient facilities
The wider group includes multiple established branches, each with its own identity and areas of expertise, creating a collaborative and well-supported clinical network.
The Roles
Full-Time Position
-
40 hours per week
-
8-hour shifts
-
Mixture of consultations, surgery, and inpatient care
-
Maximum 1 in 4 weekends with time off in lieu

Share of future bank holidays (enhanced compensation)
Weekend Roles
-
Regular Saturdays or occasional Sundays available
-
Flexible structure to suit lifestyle needs
These roles would particularly suit vets with an interest in small animal surgery, medicine, or diagnostic imaging.
About You
-
RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
-
Minimum 3 years’ small animal experience
-
Confident in routine surgery and consultations
-
Strong communicator and team player
-
Committed to high standards of patient and client care

Vet GDP Advisor status advantageous
Salary & Benefits

Competitive salary from £45,000+ FTE (DOE)

Discretionary annual bonus of up to 5% (practice performance related)

30-minute paid lunch breaks (lunch provided on Saturdays)

5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing after 5 years)

RCVS, VDS and one additional professional membership paid
