​Lloyd & Cowan are a specialist veterinary recruitment team and therefore we are working with a long-standing veterinary practice in Lancashire, who are seeking to appoint an Experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon. The surgery has been fitted out to a high standard with fantastic dental x-ray and good dental equipment installed throughout.

Key abilities:

  • You will be confident with all consultations and general surgery

  • Shape the future within a growing veterinary practice

  • The ability of case workups and clinical freedom will be required

  • The successful candidate will have a passion for developing the practice and their employees

  • Ensure the smooth running of the practice from day-to-day

Shift pattern:

  • The working pattern is 38 hours per week, worked over 4 days

  • You will be required to work 1:3 Saturday mornings

  • There are no OOH or overnight inpatients


  • Registered with the RCVS, or meet the requirements

  • Excellent leadership skills

  • Have previous leadership experience

  • Be approachable and display excellent communication skills
