Are you looking for a Job where you can have both Flexibility but also Career Progression? This is the Role For You.....

With this New, Exciting Opportunity we believe that you can have it all. From a fulfilling career with supportive colleagues, through to an idyllic hometown in which you can secure the best possible quality of life, everything is possible when you join this team!

About:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented Veterinary Surgeon to join a great team and because it’s important to us to find the right person to work alongside this team, they are happy to offer greater flexibility and a rota that can be planned around what works best for you.  So, if you have childcare needs, caring responsibilities or are simply taking care of your own wellbeing and are looking for a level of flexibility that isn’t always available in our sector, then we’d still love to hear from you......

  • It may be that shorter days with later starts, or earlier finishes than the average day in practice work better for you.

  • Or maybe you prefer to work longer days & have more full days off, that could also be accommodated.

  • If you’re looking for longer hours during term time & shorter days during school holidays, then we can discuss that with you too! We don’t do our own OOH and are only open until midday on Saturdays ensuring that everyone in the team can take advantage of the work/life balance that we all value so much.

The Role:

You will have a varied case load, and we are looking for a vet with good medical and surgical experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for what you do.

If you prefer a mainly consulting role this can be accommodated. However, if you love surgery & orthopaedics, they are also well equipped with orthopaedic kit to enable a range of routine and emergency procedures including cruciate repairs, patella surgeries & fracture repairs - although we know this is not everyone’s idea of a fun day at work!

There will also be support for your ongoing career progression with fully funded training and development opportunities along with the opportunity to become a practice owner!

A generous benefits package is also available including:

  • Excellent career development opportunities

  • No OOH or Sunday working

  • Contributory pension scheme

  • Competitive salary up to £55,000 depending on experience

  • Generous CPD allowance and plenty of support

  • Private Health Insurance

  • Death in service 4 x annual salary

  • Paid memberships

  • Exclusive company discounts & rewards
