Small Animal Vet
A well-known Small Animal Clinic on Auckland’s North Shore. In our location we have the best of both worlds... close enough to the city to enjoy its attractions but also spoiled for choice by the many beaches within a few minutes drive!
We are lucky to have a purpose-built veterinary building with lots of modern equipment including digital x-ray (Shimadzu and Agfa) with full size floating table, In-house laboratory (Abaxis), iM3 Dental equipment, two fully equipped surgical suites, surgical suction and more.
Our Nurses run a very British-style nursing system with the team largely doing all the IV catheters, blood sampling and the like. They are very efficient, so our vets are free to do what they do best... provide high quality information and the best care to our clients and patients.
There are three referral and after-hours clinics close by, and we make use of online radiology and oncology services. We are also visited regularly by an orthopaedic surgeon and a full time ultrasonographer.
We are looking for a veterinarian (full or part time) who wants to develop in their career and is keen to be part of a busy and stimulating environment.
As our ideal candidate you will have
a BVSc, BVM or equivalent
registration to practice in New Zealand
confidence in medicine and general practice surgery
great communication skills and a desire to educate and work with owners to achieve great patient care
There is no after-hours or Sunday work. On Saturdays we are open from 9am – 12.30pm and our vets work on an alternating roster to cover Saturday mornings.
