Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are pleased to be working with a practice who are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. There will be various shift roles including clinics, dispensary, theatre, and in-patients.
Rota:
The position is full time Monday-Friday with 2:9 Saturday shifts. The earliest start time would be 8:00am and the latest finish time 20:00pm. There are no out of hours. Saturday shifts are worked on a rota and consist of alternating inpatient and consult shifts.
Who they are:
This practice is a purpose-built building situated in the beautiful Garden of England, Ashford, Kent. They are close to Ashford international station and shopping outlet, 15 miles from the coast and euro tunnel for access to Europe and the beautiful city of Canterbury is only a 20-minute drive.
They have state of the art equipment including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, orthopaedic equipment, k-laser unit, a CT scanner, and endoscopy. They have separate dog and cat wards and a separate isolation ward.
The practice has a caring and supportive culture and there is plenty of opportunity to learn from both senior and visiting colleagues. They encourage the sharing of CPD and best practice and hold regular M&M meetings to ensure that they are delivering the best care for both their patients and clients.
Currently their team consists of 8 Veterinary Surgeons supported by 14 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, 1 Animal Care Assistant, a Client Care Manager, 12 Receptionists, an Insurance Administrator, a bookings clerk and a Practice Director who manages the entire team.
Salary:
Up to £30,000 DOE
