Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are delighted to be working with a practice who is looking for an enthusiastic and confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team.
Rota:
They welcome both full-time and part-time applicants. The full-time position is typically 40 hours over 4 or 5 days per week with a combination of early shifts from 8 am – 4:30 pm and late shifts from 11 am – 7:30 pm. Saturday mornings are 1:4 and there is no OOH. They value their nurses and recognise the integral part they play within their teams, which is why they are able to offer flexible working hours.
About the practice:
They are a first-opinion small animal practice conveniently situated in the bustling high street of Woodley in Berkshire. With good public transport links, travelling to central Reading or into London is an easy journey. Their practice is large and modern with 4 consult rooms, a dedicated digital x-ray and ultrasound room, a modern theatre, prep room, separate cat and dog kennels, an in-house laboratory and an excellent range of equipment including a multiparameter, baer hugger and fluid warmers.
They are a two vet practice supported by a team of clinical and non-clinical colleagues. Their Head Vet is currently working towards their post-graduate certificate in Surgery and we have a large surgical caseload to support this.
Salary:
Salary up to £32,000 depending on experience –Welcome bonus of £2k and a relocation allowance available
