Registered Veterinary Nurse
Here at Lloyd & Cowan we are delighted to be working with a long-established and continually growing first opinion and referral small animal practice who are looking for an additional veterinary nurse to join the team. With a salary up to £31k, the chance to work alongside two experienced Advanced Practitioners in Small Animal Surgery and the rest of their fantastic team, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
They are a well-established and well-equipped first opinion practice and as well as looking after their local clients, their highly experienced surgeons offer additional services such as restorative therapy and laparoscopy procedures across the Bristol region.
Upon joining them, you will work alongside their 8 vets, 7 RVNs and fantastic support team of 10. They are a very happy, well-organised and supportive team.
They are looking for a forward-thinking, experienced Veterinary Nurse who is prepared to help with both first opinion and referrals and is confident working unaccompanied. They also place importance on building strong relationships with their clients and the clients pets. Experience of referral work isn’t essential – you will receive all the training needed.
Ideally, they’re looking for someone to work at least 3-4 days a week and share weekends on a rota basis (1 in 6 weekends). Shifts are varied (8 to 4, 9 to 5, 10-6 & 11.30 to 7.30) Paid lunch breaks and overtime.
