A high-net-worth family is seeking an experienced and reliable veterinary nurse (or similarly skilled individuals) to join their dedicated in house team. The household currently has four much-loved dogs, requiring consistent, attentive care and confident handling.
The primary work location is a stunning private estate in the canton of Zurich, Switzerland, with occasional travel to the Swiss mountains and the south of France. Accommodation is provided in a staff flat just five minutes’ walk from the house. Staff typically work on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rota.
Role Responsibilities
Walking the dogs, with daily exercise routines followed closely
Preparing and serving meals, administering medication, and monitoring ongoing conditions
Grooming, cleaning, and equipment maintenance
Supporting physiotherapy and mobility management where required
Moving dogs around the house and maintaining exact care standards
Keeping detailed communication with the family about any changes or observations
Candidate Profile
Independent, adaptable, and confident handling large breeds
Physically capable and resilient, with strong attention to detail
Veterinary nurse qualification preferred, but strong dog-handling experience will also be considered
Must have a European or Irish passport
Employment Details
Salary up to €55,000
All flights and travel expenses covered
Accommodation provided in Zurich during working periods,
Accident insurance
Travel to and from work
Travel from the airport to accommodation (both ways)
