Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeon (7 on 21 off) – Accommodation Available 

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a well established out of hours small animal service in Stoke on Trent. This role is ideal for a vet who enjoys emergency and critical care, values autonomy overnight, and is looking for a rota that genuinely supports work life balance.

The practice operates as a dedicated out of hours service, supporting a network of local clinics, with modern facilities and a strong clinical support structure in place. You’ll work sole charge overnight with an experienced RVN on site, alongside access to wider clinical support when needed.

The Role

  • Provide out of hours care across a varied caseload including emergencies and hospitalised inpatients
  • Sole charge overnight with nursing support
  • Structured handovers with the day team to ensure continuity of care
  • Flexible rota options available, including reduced or part time night commitments
  • Annualised hours contract available

Salary & Package

  • Salary up to £80,000 FTE, pro rata depending on experience
