The Role:

A very exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Night veterinary surgeon to join a friendly and supportive team at a busy practice in Shrewsbury working 7 nights on, 21 nights off.

Our client is currently seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with a few years’ experience, who have a special interest in and passion for emergency and critical care. You will have a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills. 

Experience working in an environment where colleagues support you by sharing skills and knowledge to give their patients the best outcomes. In return, they will provide you with strong mentorship and support to help you develop your career and get the most satisfaction from your job.

Salary & benefits:

  • Full time salary up to £65,000 Pro rata for 7 nights on 21 nights off £32500

  • Night commission 

  • Vehicle

  • RCVS, VDS, BVA fees paid

Skills and Experience:

You must be a Veterinary Surgeon registered with the RCVS. 

The Branch:

This practice has been fully refurbished and comes well equipped with 3 consult rooms, a theatre, CT scanner, digital x-ray, ultrasound, ECG, in-house laboratory and much more. The practice sees a busy and varied caseload and is a training practice for nurses and Vets training on their Graduate Development Programme.

The practice is conveniently located with good transport links to London, Birmingham and Wales.
