If you thrive on the buzz of emergency work and love the challenge of thinking on your feet, this could be the perfect role for you. An opportunity has come up for a motivated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a dedicated out-of-hours team based in Lisburn, County Down.
The team provides out-of-hours cover for several respected local practices, along with inpatients from a Veterinary Specialists hospital — giving you exposure to an exciting variety of cases and the chance to make a real impact when it matters most.
The Role & Rota:
You’ll work a 1:3 week on, 2 weeks off pattern, offering an excellent work–life balance while keeping your clinical skills sharp.
Nights: 19:00–08:00, Monday to Monday
1 in 6 weekends: 07:30–19:30 (Saturday & Sunday)
Two bank holidays per year

An experienced and confident vet who enjoys emergency and critical care, communicates clearly under pressure, and is genuinely passionate about delivering gold-standard treatment to every patient.
